Who I Support?

I work with individuals who present with complex behavioural needs that require a higher level of clinical understanding and intervention. This includes:

Individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental conditions
Participants presenting with behaviours of concern that impact safety, quality of life, or placement stability
Complex or high-risk cases requiring specialist behaviour support
Situations where previous supports have been insufficient or inconsistent

I support participants across home, community, and supported accommodation settings, with a focus on achieving meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on understanding the underlying function of behaviour and developing practical, person-centred strategies. As a Senior Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, I focus on:

Comprehensive functional behavioural assessment
Development of high-quality behaviour support plans
Reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
Supporting teams to implement strategies consistently in real-world settings

I take a collaborative approach, working closely with families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure interventions are ethical, clinically sound, and sustainable.
